The Care Access Call Center obtains pre-certifications for and scheduling of testing and procedures ordered by York Hospital primary care and specialty care providers. The Call Center team also manages insurance authorizations for York Hospital primary and specialty care provider referrals to specialty providers and services. This team also schedules patient transportation to and from office visits, surgeries, special procedures, and testing at the myriad of York Hospital locations.
